Before Mick received worldwide acclaim thanks to his multi-layed Mankind character, he portrayed another popular superstar, and his name was Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack made a name for himself, on a worldwide scale, thanks to his time in World Championship Wrestling. The Cactus Jack character in WCW did well to get wrestling fans talking, but it was really his time in ECW and the period between late 1994 and early 1996 where Cactus Jack truly rose in notoriety. His matches in ECW, along with his matches in Japan, where the talk of the wrestling world. Along with showing what he could do in the ring, Mick Foley further developed the Cactus Jack character by delievering some of his best promos against the fans of ECW.
