In the world of Jiuyou, Shen Zhenyi, the third young master of the Abandoned Sword Manor, obtained the ancient scroll, Wancang Sword Manual, attracting greedy eyes in the martial arts world. The leader of the Devil Sect, Raincoat Man proposed to spar with Shen Zhenyi, and the winner could get the Sword Manual. However, after that, Shen Zhenyi is nowhere to be found. A year later, the Abandoned Sword Manor reopened its doors and Shen Zhenyi wanted to take in a disciple to pass down the teachings of the Wancang Sword Manual. The news shocked the martial arts world. Chu Huoluo, a female disciple of the Lieyang Sect, became Shen Zhenyi's disciple because of a twist of fate. As the teacher-student pair tries to find out the truth, the lurking danger is approaching them as well. When the evil scheme is finally revealed, it turns out that everything is connected to an ancient legend, the "Moon-Slashing Immortal".
