One fine day, their quiet life gets turned upside down when their trademark sigil starts appearing across India in a spate of con jobs. An over ambitious Inspector Jatayu Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) picks them up for questioning, only to find out that a couple of imposters are pulling off con-jobs under Bunty and Babli’s name. This doesn't go well with the original Bunty and Babli. Inspector Jatayu threatens Rakesh and Vimmi to join him in the hunt for imposters. A reluctant Rakesh and Vimmi join half-heartedly. The hunt begins and they retrace all the cons executed by imposters and find a way to nab them. But the new Bunty (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Babli (Sharvari) are up for all the challenges. They manage to escape by the thinnest of margins. A frustrated Inspector Jatayu rebukes Rakesh and Vimmi saying that they have lost their steam and are better off as nobodies in a godforsaken town.
