Founded in 1983 as a tournament championship, since 1987 it has been the official World Championship in the Heavyweight Division in New Japan Pro Wrestling. As of this upload there have been 87 official reigns with 39 different wrestlers. This episode I talk about them all; the tournament champions, the main championship(87-21 & 26-Present), the IGF, & the World Heavyweight Championship(V5 from 21-26).
