Five In Five: The Enzo Maresca Era Begins

Go behind-the-scenes on our perfect start to the 2026/27 Premier League season ahead of the competition's return this weekend. We head to Liverpool in a 16:30 (UK) kick-off on Sunday that sees us seek to defend our 100% record thus far under Enzo Maresca. The Italian has led us to victory in each of our five league games since returning to the Etihad Stadium this summer, with City sitting pretty at the top of the table over the course of this extended international break. Whether it's the response to Erling Haaland's fresh haircut before the season opener or the focus required for the dramatic win over Manchester United, the players were ready to go with the new campaign.
