Episode 385: AJ Styles in WWE So I had this topic planned for sometime this year, given we knew this was gonna be AJ's last year in WWE. But given what happened at Royal Rumble 2026, no better time to do this episode than now. From 2002 until 2015, AJ Styles was one of the best professional wrestlers in the world & did it all outside of WWE; having runs in Ring Of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, & Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. So many people thought he was WWE bound after his TNA run; but when he didn't go in 2014, people had this thought he would never go to WWE(and that would have been fine). But in January 2016, AJ Styles would make his official WWE debut(had some tryouts in 2001 & 2002); and over the next decade would be one of the main names in the company.
