This is how to make the best Nigerian chicken stew for beginners! INGREDIENTS for Turkey STEW 2 kilo turkey Season and boil with: 4-6 Seasoning Cubes 1-2 Tbspn Curry powder 1 -2 Tbspn Thyme 3-4 medium size onion 1-2 tbspn pieces ginger/garlic paste 2 Scotch bonnet pepper (optional) 3-4 bayleaf pieces (optional) 3-5 tspn salt or to taste Pepper /Tomatoes mix: 10 -12 Tomatoes pieces 3-6 Red bell pepper (Tatashey) 10-15 Scotch Bonnet Pepper(Atarodo) 5-7 Cayenne Pepper (Shombo/Bawa) Fry with: 3-5 cup vegetable Oil (leftover from frying) 2 big size Onions (sliced) 1-2 medium tin tomato paste 1 Tbspn curry 1 Tbspn thyme 3-5 seasoning cubes (pls taste & adjust) 4-5 tspn salt or to taste. Vegetable Oil for frying chicken NOTE: if you are buying & Blending Tomatoes and pepper in bulk, the ratio should be 60% Tomatoes, 20% Cayenne Pepper (Shombo) 5% Atarodo (Scotch Bonnet) 10% Red bell pepper ( Tatashey) 5% Onions Also note⭕️ Pls remove the seeds from the Red bell pepper (Tatashey) before you blend, So your stew will not be bitter. You can double or divide the ingredients depending on the quantity you are making.
