If you don’t know who they are, you definitely know their songs. It was this band that inspired Zack to start studying pop music. All of us are classically trained, and we grew up listening to all kinds of music. But classical music took the majority of our time. It wasn’t until we were older that we started to study pop music and what makes it popular. OneRepublic’s songs are all so catchy, and Counting Stars especially struck a chord 😏 with us. It was our first video that we filmed outside of Arizona. We were in New York for a performance, so we thought, "We have to take advantage of this and shoot a video in New York City!"
