IEA | A Pesquisa em Anticorpos Monoclonais no Brasil
Ao longo dos últimos trinta anos, diversos países implantaram políticas públicas e outros mecanismos de coordenação institucional em pesquisa em Saúde para fazer avançar a produção científica, o desenvolvimento tecnológico e a atividade de inovação para os chamados Anticorpos Monoclonais (mAbs). Esse tipo de medicamento imunobiológico, sintetizado a partir de organismos vivos e mesmo células humanas, é visto como a grande promessa da biomedicina contemporânea, sobretudo por sua utilidade em terapias contra vários tipos de cânceres, artrite reumatoide e doenças neuro-degenerativas.
